In the upload dialog choose “By link” and paste a direct http(s) link to the file. Our server downloads it — your device doesn't need to stay on; progress shows in the vault. The link must point straight to the file and be reachable without login; the same file-size limit applies.
Right-click the file (long-press on a phone) → “Share”: the link is copied to your clipboard. Anyone with it can download the file without logging in; shared files show a link badge in the list.
The link works until you revoke it: same menu → “Revoke link”. The old link stops working immediately.
